Shipping & Delivery

Michigan Specialty Paper offers shipping using UPS, FedEx Ground and the U.S. Post Office. Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST (Monday thru Saturday), will ship by 4:00 PM the same day, based on product availability. Pick the carrier best suited to your shipping needs and in most cases, you will have your purchase in 2 to 4 business days. We will do our best to get your order to you as fast as possible.

Periodically due to size and/or weight restrictions of customer orders, Michigan Specialty Paper may not be able to utilize our normal shipping sources. Should that occur Michigan Specialty Paper will use a common carrier to fulfill delivery requirements.

Michigan Specialty Paper holds the right to impose extra fees for special shipping requests; orders that require special shipping due to size or weight over 150lbs, and all LTL (pallet) orders. Michigan Specialty Paper will contact the customer before shipment if any changes occur. Please provide us an accurate email address and telephone number so we can insure prompt shipment of your order.

Please Note: Occasionally mistakes happen, but we need you to know additional delivery charges due to customer error (i.e. wrong address or zip code) or change are an added charge to our customer. Please double-check your order before placing it.

The least expensive carrier providing the best service will ship all orders to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. We now ship to select international destinations. Please contact us if you do not see a country of choice and we will attempt to accommodate your needs. Please note international shipping rates sometimes change. If this should occur, we will confirm a new shipping cost before shipping your order.

The first information stream is provided by any customer who freely provides information necessary to register at our website. We may record your name and e-mail address in order to email you special offers regarding merchandise or changes in our product line.

The second information stream is from subscriptions to any mailing lists, you have provided us. In addition, a visitor who orders one of our products and/or services must provide us with personal information for different purposes related to the sales process.

Personal information collected is used throughout our store to fulfill your sales orders or contact you regarding sales or technical information affecting our products. It is possible that to fulfill a sales order some personal information (name, address, telephone number, email address, etc.), will be provided to our distributors or subcontractors for order fulfillment purposes only.

Second, we will use your e-mail address to provide you with information related to your order. We shall also make use of your email and/or personal information to inform you of new products and services.  Your personal information can be used to improve our marketing and product offerings.

Third, Michigan Specialty Paper does not hold, retain or in any way collect information provided by our customers regarding their use of credit or bankcards except as needed to fulfill our existing sales obligations, or as requested by our customers.

Last, we do not sell or trade, rent or disclose individually identifiable information about our clients and website visitors to anyone outside of Michigan Specialty Paper, unless required by law, regulation, court order or other legal process.

Returned Merchandise

All equipment sales and/or returns are subject to the original equipment manufacturer's terms.

All returns must be received in resalable condition, accompanied with a Return Authorization number issued by Michigan Specialty Paper, LLC.

All returns on non-defective merchandise must be received within 30 days.

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified in writing by Michigan Specialty Paper, or as shown on the return authorization form. Please make sure to insure your return in case the product is damaged in shipping.

Credit for all returns is subject to product inspection.

Return Authorization Numbers are valid for 30 days.

All returns of defective merchandise must be made within 30 days of invoice date.

Special ordered merchandise cannot be returned unless confirmed defective.

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon shipment by the carrier.

Payment Terms

We accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER & PAYPAL. We will accept cash or check for orders delivered within a 25 mile radius of our office, located in Allen Park, MI.  A nominal delivery charge may be assessed for local delivery.

Returned Checks

A $40 Service Charge will be assessed by Michigan Specialty Paper, for any returned check regardless of reason.

Special Orders

Paper sizes not normally offered for sale may be special ordered when available. Special orders require full payment prior to order placement.

Back Ordered Merchandise

In the event we are temporarily out of a product, we will contact you by telephone or email to determine how you wish to have your order processed. 

Equipment Warranty

All equipment (heat presses, cutters, etc.), sold by Michigan Specialty Paper are warranted to meet the minimum performance requirements as stated by the original equipment manufacturer. All equipment purchased are warrantied by the original manufacture(s), not Michigan Specialty Paper. Any warranty claims must be made to the product manufacturer. Michigan Specialty Paper will assist you in executing your warranty rights with the original equipment manufacturer, but has not responsibly in this regard.
